The members of our Department collaborate with some universities from Europe (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers – Paris, France, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mines – Saint-Etienne, France, Bournemouth University, England, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – Barcelona, Spain, Politecnico di Torino, Italy, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, Swiis) and Unated States of America (Washington State University, University of Washington).

The Department has a strong because professor relation with Old Dominion University – Norfolk, Virginia (http://www.odu.edu) materializing a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and ODU. The relation is special because Professor Andrian Gheorghe, Doctoral Coordinator within our Doctoral School is, in the same time. Professor at this prestigious school from USA (http://eng.odu.edu/enma/directory/agheorg.shtml).

Our Department has also strong relations with Romanian Chemical Society (http://www.schr.org.ro), the largest professional association in Romania, and Romanian Association of Managers and Economic Engineers, (http://www.amier.org), the professional association representative for Romanian education in the domain “Engineering and Management”.

Our goal is to consolidate those relations and to develop new ones by involving more members of our department in international programmes.
