Welcome to the official website of the Management Department of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management (FAIMA) from University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB)!

The Management Department is one of three departments of FAIMA and is a centre for education and research offering undergraduate as well as graduate (Master and PhD) programs on several academic fields/ specializations. The department's staff generates a critical mass of knowledge and expertise in various areas such as management, innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, communication, human resources management, new products development, leadership etc.
Education activities take place in the Department's modern premises (amphitheatres, classrooms and laboratories) using state-of-the-art equipment and software, learning and computing facilities, wireless Internet access, library etc.
Students are therefore offered the opportunity to acquire critical fundamental knowledge, skills and the expertise required for successful careers on the global market.

Mission

The Department of Management's mission is to advance the development of knowledge, tools, and methods of management and related areas through teaching and research, to give students the opportunity to acquire critical skills and the expertise required for successful careers by providing high quality educational programs in a dynamic and global environment.

Vision

We aspire to be one of the premier Management Departments in the country. We intend to advance and embody the Departments aspirations/ vision by:

• -publishing high quality academic and research publications;
• -providing the educational programs that make a difference for our students;
• -developing an innovative approach to educational programs via regular curricular changes;
• -encouraging critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication among all the members of the Department, and among our stakeholders - students, collaborating economic entities, other academic institutions from Romania and abroad, the Ministry of Education and Research, the Government, the society at large etc.
