From a strategic perspective, FAIMA aims to become a Center of excellence in education and research through the creation and development of human resources able to satisfy the complex requirements of the academic and business community.

In this respect, an important objective assumed by FAIMA is to actively participate to the development of European cultural and economic space by strengthening links with other faculties of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, as well as prestigious international universities. This goal, generated mainly by the implementation of the Bologna process, will be achieved by evaluating, reviewing and improving the criteria and performance indicators, and by obtaining quality levels according to requirements of companies in the business environment.

The second important objective assumed by FAIMA refers to both fundamental and applied scientific research approach. Achieving this goal is possible through the participation of faculty research teams in all competitions for research contracts and grants financed from the state budget or European funds.
